Standard Feature – List Box Control

Overview

This List Box Control will only allow other Container Controls, e.g. (Group box, Tab item and Grid) to be dropped onto it. The appearance of the container will change to an Index Card instead of the standard look.

A Dashboard is associated with the Control to manage the visibility and reordering of the List’s Index Cards. This dashboard in the OpenForms Designer (OFD) sets the default look and feel, but is also available in Govern. In Govern the user can further personalize their own look and feel if required.

Function

Scroll the content in both OFD and Govern.
Drag & Drop other containers into the List in the OFD only.
Allow Reorder in both OFD and Govern.

In the OFD, cards can be reordered by Dragging & Dropping each card within the list.
In both the OFD and Govern, cards can be reordered from the Index Dashboard by either Dragging & Dropping indexes, or using the up & down arrows.

Allow Hiding cards in both OFD and Govern.

In the OFD, The visibility of each cards is set through an expression.
In Govern, cards are hidden through the Index Dashboard by selecting the appropriate checkboxes.

Allow displaying the Index Cards by Group in Govern only, although the group name is set up in OFD on each card.

Reset to Default OFD setup in Govern Only.
