Overview

The Settlement Expense Parameter editor in the Govern New Administration (GNA) allows users to <RE.TxParm.feaDescript>. Users can access this editor from the GNA ribbon:

  1. Select Applications Configurations (tab) > Govern Tax (group) > Real Property > Settlement > Settlement Expense Parameters

The Settlement Types parameters editor allows administrators to configure the following:

Create a Settlement Expense

Settlement Expense Code

  • T/C

Real Property Tax Parameter – Settlement Period

Overview

The Settlement Period Parameter editor in the Govern New Administration (GNA) allows users to define a period that is linked to the cycle code and installment. Users can access this editor from the GNA ribbon:

  1. Select Applications Configurations (tab) > Govern Tax (group) > Real Property > Settlement > Settlement Period Parameters.

Settlement Period parameters

The Settlement Period Parameters editor allows administrators to configure the following:

Create a period

Period Code

  • User defines the code
  • Required field
  • Must be unique by year
  • The Period Code and Year ID are also linked to a description in the VT_USER with TXEXPENSEPERIOD

Year Id

  • The period is by year
  • Required field
  • The Period Code and Year ID are also linked to a description in the VT_USER with TXEXPENSEPERIOD

Cycle Code

  • VT_USER with ARCLASS
  • Required field
  • Must be unique with the installment  by year

Installment

  • VT_USER with INSTALL
  • Required field
  • Must be unique with the installment by year

From Date

  • Must be smaller than the End Date
  • Required field

End Date

  • Must be higher than the Start Date
  • Required field

Closed Period

  • The period can be closed in Govern
  • Identify if the period is closed or not

Closing By

  • The period can be closed in Govern
  • Save the User Id of the person who closed the period

Closing Date

  • The period can be closed in Govern
  • Save the date time of the person who closed the period

Delete period

  • Can delete only if the period is not closed or not used in the Settlement Expense.
